What the contact form collects
Your name, email address, an optional phone number, and whatever you write in the message field. Nothing is required beyond the fields marked as such, and there are no hidden fields collecting anything else.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry and, if the project goes ahead, to communicate about it. We do not add form submissions to a marketing list.
Where it is stored
Submissions are stored in the website’s database on our hosting provider’s servers and are also sent by email to the site administrator. The form is provided by Formidable Forms, a WordPress plugin.
Who can see it
People working on your enquiry. Our hosting provider has technical access to the server as any host does. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not pass it to third-party marketers.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept while they may still be relevant and then deleted. Records relating to work actually carried out are kept longer, for the ordinary business and tax reasons. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Cookies
WordPress sets functional cookies, and if you leave a comment it may store your details for convenience. Our caching plugin may set cookies to serve pages faster. These are functional rather than advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site will still work.
Analytics and advertising
If analytics or advertising tools are added to this site in future, this policy will be updated to say so before they are used to collect anything about you.
Embedded content
Pages may embed content from other websites, such as fonts. Embedded content behaves as though you had visited that other site, and those sites have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Contact us through the form and say what you want done.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and kept updated. No website can promise perfect security, and we would rather say that plainly than imply otherwise.
Children
This site is aimed at homeowners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date.
